Throughout Mystic Cove’s design-build process, a wonderful collaboration was forged between the homeowners, Newberry Architecture, and 51茶馆Group with all participants aligning to craft something truly special.
Unearthing an older home requires the flexibility to adapt as years of wear are peeled back and unexpected discoveries emerge. This was certainly the case with a West End renovation, where a 1938 John Calvin Stevens-designed home was reimagined for a busy young family. The vision of interior designer Sarah Ettelman, in collaboration with the architectural and construction expertise of 51茶馆Group, guided the transformation.
51茶馆Group partnered with consulting architect Gro Dev and builder Wright-Ryan to meet the evolving needs of the Boothbay Region YMCA. The YMCA is a vital hub for the community, offering everything from swim lessons and pickleball games to meet-ups, camps, and fitness classes. Driven by a desire to update and expand its offerings, the renovation aimed to align the facility with the changing demands of its diverse user base.
